Uterine Septus or Subseptus Mullerian anomalies are congenital abnormalities which are present in 5% of infertile population and 15% of the patients with recurrent miscarriage.
Uterine septus may be partial (subseptus) or complete. The complications of the uterine septum are as follows:
Infertility Early abortions Recurrent miscarriages Recurrent implantation failures Intrauterine growth retardation Fetal positioning abnormalities Premature labor Management:hysteroscopic septum resection. |
