During embryologic period, the structures called Muller ducts (right and left) make up two halves of uterus and then create uterine cavity by being resorbed in the middle.
Under some conditions, these structures don’t disappear and remain as a curtain in the middle of uterus and lead to the following complications:
- Abortion at early onset of pregnancy
- Repeating pregnancy losses
- Fetal developmental deficiencies
- Position anomalies in fetus
